Very fine and dark impression with plate tone of the first state before the addresses. With larger margins and in there two tears in the upper left corner and lower left margin.
Engraved after a painting by Carlo Saraceni c. 1606; later wrongly attributed to Jusepe Ribera after the addition of his monogram by the publisher in the third state.
Jean Leclerc entered the studio of Saraceni in 1617. Seven etchings have been attributed to him, two after Saraceni.
